Hiya Sunshine,
I’m so stinkin’ excited! Today, I’m announcing a giveaway that’ll transform the kitchens of 10 lucky winners into juice- and smoothie-producing super factories! I’ve never given away this many juice and smoothie machines at one time. I hope Lady Luck is on your side. Read on to learn what you could win (update: this giveaway is now closed)…
My Breville Bonanza Giveaway Package
Okay, so what will each winner receive? Well folks, my friends at Breville are really hooking us up this time. Ten wonderful winners will receive not one, not two, but THREE new kitchen appliances, including (drumroll…) the:
- Breville Juice Fountain Elite juicer
- Boss blender
- Citrus Press Pro
Isn’t that cray?! I feel like Oprah. ‘And YOU get a blender! And YOU get a juicer! And YOU get a press!’ It’s like the green drink edition of my Crazy Sexy Favorite Things!
Wanna know more about these incredible kitchen tools? Check out the deets…
Breville Juice Fountain Elite
It’s no secret that I love my Breville juicer. So it almost goes without saying that I have a serious crush on the Breville Juice Fountain Elite—this is one badass machine. With a crazy-sharp cutting disc and micro mesh filter, this beauty was designed to produce maximum liquid gold. And bonus: It’s easy to clean (Hallelujah!). It’s also got an exceptionally large circular feed tube, so big chunks of produce are no problemo (less prep).
Breville Boss
The Breville Boss is new on the scene, and I hear it’s a smoothie powerhouse. The high-speed blade system can, among other things, “liquefy and aerate for super fine soups and smoothies.” Oh, and get this: There’s a Green Smoothie setting. Love it. This impressive blender has a shatterproof jug, an auto clean function and several one-touch programs. With this machine on your counter, you can whip up sauces, dips, nut butters, plant-based milks and of course, smoothies galore!
Citrus Press Pro
Fresh warm lemon water to start your day? Grapefruit juice for brunch? Orange juice for mock mimosas? And let’s not forget a dash of lime in our go-to gauc. All these drinks and snacks are easy-breezy with a handy (and in this case, mega-efficient) citrus press. The Citrus Press Pro’s super-sophisticated “juicing cone” makes juicing citrus fruits of all sizes a snap. There’s also a drip stop juice spout to keep rogue juice droplets off your countertop. Nice.
First thing would be a green juice or a big green smoothie. GREEN <3
Kris,
I would make a juice: 2 carrots, 1 pink grapefruit, 2 oranges, 1/4″ ginger all juiced. At the end I would add a few drops of wild orange essential oil for a bit of extra punch. Therapeutic grade of course. 🙂
Martha
I’ve never liked smoothies because the texture is always so fibrous and bleh that I gag getting it down…so that’s why the first thing I would make would be a smoothie to see if this machine can really liquefy…and make me a smoothie girl yet!
First thing I’d make? A green juice that my son would drink….full of kale, spinach, cilantro, lemon, strawberries, oranges and grapes.
The first thing I would do is try to recreate an apple, lemon, ginger drink I fell in love with at a restaurant called Ecopolitan!
I would make Kale Lemonaide: Cucumber, kale, lemo, and apple.
I have been wanting to make nut milk; I saw a recipe yesterday for pistachio milk and it sounds super easy!
I am signed up for a food preservation course at local University. I can just imagine the possibilities when I win these tools! Thank you Kris for continuing to bring us the best!
I think one of the first things I would do is press fresh citrus juice! It’s great culinary flexibility to be able to have fresh citrus juice on hand. Then I’d make a spicy coconut ginger carrot soup in the blender. Mmm!
GReen juice for me and a strawberry smoothie for my son.
This is amazing! I would make green smoothies (“dinosaur shakes”) for my grandkids! They have food allergies and these would be wonderful!
carrot, apple, ginger juice… YUM!!!
The first thing I would make with the Juicer would be the Urban Zen Juice from Kris Carr’s Crazy Sexy Kitchen book. My juicer gets a bit heated up over this one because there is a lot to process for this recipe. Then for lunch I would rock the blender with the Harvest Soup recipe from Kris’s Crazy Sexy Diet book. My grocery store blender gets really mad at me when I try to make this one but it is my go-to recipe for a quick lunch or dinner when I really want to pack in a lot of nutrients – YAAAAY! The Press Pro sounds really cool and would definitely be great for those lemon water concoctions first thing in the morning, or maybe lime infused water in the afternoon, or maybe some grapfruit water…
I would make a fresh smoothie using vegetables from my garden! This is my first year gardening, so its been adventure finding recipes to use up the bountiful harvest 🙂
I would make a kale coconut green smoothie and share it with my boyfriend and family. They’re not fans of kale but this smoothie is so delicious that I’m sure they’d be converts soon.
Winning this awesome Kris Carr giveaway I would first juice spinach, kale and celery in the Breville Juicer, then press oranges from my tree with the Breville Citrus Press, put it all together in the Breville Blender with a frozen banana and blend it all into divine bliss. Pour the elixir into a beautiful pitcher and put it on a tray with champagne glasses. Then head out to my garden with my girlfriends, dog and cats and we would enjoy the vitality of the drink and toast our friendship, Kris Carr and Breville. XO!
Green juice. I have lots of cucumbers growing in my garden!
With these three magnificent tools, my meal preparation just got easier and faster since I could use the Citrus press pro to squeeze the limes for my cilantro lime viniagret, the Breville Boss to make a tomatoe basil soup without turning on the stove, and the Breville Juice Fountain Elite to make a highly nutrition green juice concoction of carrots pineapple cucumber ginger and kale without having to peel their skin off especially the pineapple!
Wanna-get- that, Wanna-get-that, Wanna-get-that! I would jump on your 3 day cleanse and start my day with some hot water and ‘freshly squeezed’ lemon juice & cayenne, then have an ‘Awesome 8’ green juice with Kale, Romaine, Parsley, Cucumber, Celery, Apple, Broccoli stems, and Lemon (it’ll be great to make a little extra for later) and then make your refreshing “Creamy, Green Smoothie” with my new Blender! Yum!!! Thanks, Kris! You Are THE BEST!!!
I would make a cucumber, green apple, mint, basil and lime refresher with wheat grass added at the end – to cool this 90 degree August day! Thanks Kris for all you do!
