Hiya Gorgeous!
Every couple of years I get a makeover. A new haircut, new wardrobe essentials (toss the stinky socks with holes) and most importantly, a new website! That’s right, my digital world gets a salt scrub and bikini wax, too.
This year, my team and I, including our awesome developers and designers, are proud to launch what we think is the best version of my website ever. Why? Because it’s all about YOU. Your needs. Your desires. Your support. We’ve taken all your valuable feedback and comments over the past couple of years and created a simple yet powerful home for our beloved community.
So, without further ado… Welcome to the new Kriscarr.com!
This new hub was designed to make it easier for you to navigate the world of wellness—better functionality, search abilities and the list goes on. We hope our new site fills your life with more joy and knowledge. Take a look and enjoy all this site has to offer.
But before you zoom around, we need you. We’re currently in brainstorming mode, thinking about the year of content ahead and lining up all the goodness we want to share with you, but we don’t want to do that in a bubble. Let’s be honest, sometimes an article goes up and it’s a party in the comment section, other times it’s crickets.
At the end of the day, I research and write these blogs for you. I’m dedicated to creating content that will truly change your life. I know what it’s like to have to wade through gobs of information to get the gem. And I also know what it’s like to struggle and be frustrated when you need comfort and solutions. This site is my way of delivering ease at your fingertips. I want you to feel heard and loved and to have killer smarts so you can kick ass on your wellness journey.
So now it’s your turn: We would be super grateful if you took a moment to let us know what you would like more of, whether it’s deeper discussions about specific health issues, answers to your safe and fabulous beauty questions, soulful conversations about the inner struggles we all face, or tips for getting your dreams off the ground. Some of the articles we post actually take months to research so the more prepared we are, the higher the quality I can deliver.
Tell me what you want to see at KrisCarr.com in 2016 and I will do my best to make it happen.
Thank you so much for being the fuel and inspiration for the work we do.
Peace & digital makeovers,
LOVE the beautiful new site!
Awesome job! Love the new site. You and your team are amazing.
Thank you. xo! kc
Very nice!! Clean and crisp and beautiful!
This is beautiful. I love it! Congrats. 🙂
Love it
Really like your posts! How do I prioritize? How do I take care of myself? I am in a new town, my husband has been in the hospital, 8 days in ICU, early lost him, then 13 more days, total 21 days it there. He is in rehab now and has another 8 days there before he comes home. He has had three small stokes, has dementia, cannot walk, cannot feed himself, is currently catherized and in diapers. I have also been told that he will never be able to have the catheter removed and the he has multiple myaloma. Don’t know if I believe the last two or not. I have myleodysplasia, after 16 years of blood transfusions it is controlled by eating vegetarian, also fractured my tiailbone ten weeks ago and am still in a lot of pain.. I am overwhelmed! Have mad a few friends here and am attending a church when I can.. I need a make over, physical, mental, emotional! Like your posts on makeup comparisons . My biggest need is how do I cope with all of this? Once my husband comes home I will need be able to leave him alone. Although the rehab center is trying to find me help, there are waiting lists and I may not get help right away and don’t know how much. Thank you for allowing me to vent my feelings of overwhelm. Hopefully, in here there are some ideas for posts
I’m sending you and your husband much love and healing light. Stay as positive as possible and know you are loved and supported by a loving Universe. Find 3 things you are grateful for each day, (even if it’s being able to breath) and write these down. This will bring goodness to you and move your life in a positive direction. Stay strong! Remember you are never alone. God is ALWAYS with you!
Breathe. Just breathe. Try to keep it all in perspective. You are more than your emotions. More than your body’s list of grievances. Make friends with your body. Listen to what she’s saying to you and take action. Then breathe. Just breathe. Sigh. Let it all go. Be there, be fully present, do your best but then let it go. Creation takes care of itself. If you supply the right ingredients, (fresh air, sunshine, good organic veg, clean water, movement), everything else will fall into place. If this is the season of preparation for “a rest” then that’s what it is. No sense in fighting it. There is a season to everything and if we work within that season everything just flows so much better. So sweet heart breathe, just breathe. It’s all gonna be OK. No doubt help is on the way.
Kris,
Love the new website design! Its a beauty! One of my favorite set of posts you’ve done this past year was your review of different beauty products and providing your top 10! There are so many options out there its helpful to have some of the best narrowed down. I also love your quick little videos of the Crazy Sexy Love Notes – and any other videos you do – always a nice little pick me up for the day.
Hi ladies! How can I find this beauty post you mentioned? I’d love to read that!
Thanks!
Check out the “Beauty” section in the navigation at the top and you’ll be able to see all of the beauty posts!
Hey kris, am digging the new site! I’m just found out in new years that am gonna be a mom. And I have up and down feelings about my health and how i can keep my body up to the changes its about to undertake. So since your asking. I’ll love to see a section in your site where you can talk about how to keep a healthy body while being pregnant. I see alot of different articles around the internet for this topic. But they all seem to be contradicting each other. I would love your input on this.
Thank you so much for what you do for your community.
Janet
Kris,
Congrats on new site design. Looks good. My suggestion for an article would be to dive deep into food allergies/sensitivities. After being on a whole foods plant based diet for several years and still having some issues, I discovered I was sensitive to some really healthy foods (most fruits and some nuts). I never would have imagined these foods were an issue for me and I am finding that I am not alone in this by any means. I was able to clear my issues with these foods through NAET. I am so grateful that I did and I believe this is a huge subject that many would benefit from. It sucks when you feel you are doing all the right things and still have issues. Also, I would love to learn more about adaptogen herbs like astragalus, Ashwaganda , rhodiola, holy basil and how they help balance cortisol, etc. Finally, can you look into the sinus issue. So many (my husband who eats whole foods plant based included) are really suffering with this and doctors seems to have no answers. I think our environment and how we have polluted it so are a BIG clue.
Thanks for all you do.
Fellow plant and animal lover,
Jeannie
I second the request for information I sinus issues. I am currently following the anti candida plan with hopes to clean out and restart my system. Little knowledge/support from our wonderful doc, so I look to natural wellness folks like you!
I second the allergy issue. I have sinus and asthma issues and just recently discovered a peanut and egg allergy. Most information I find are geared to parents whose children are extremely allergic, not an adult with moderate allergies and a family to cook for.
Wow Kris, the website is beautiful! My favourite posts from you are the soulful ones. “The myth of finding your purpose” is bookmarked and I read it often to remind myself what is truly important!
Well done you and team! I also want to say that I really like the way you structure your newsletter. I might not be able to adopt those cute cats and dogs, but I send love to them every week 😉
Wishing you a happy and healthy 2016 from the Netherlands!
What a clean new design – it’s very up to date. Here is my desire: as a 50 years+ woman, I am struggling to attain the health that I want. My metabolism is so slow and it’s frustrating to lose weight. Perhaps an article on a mind/body reset? thanks! Your blogs and website is a blessing in my life!
I second this request!
Yes I’m interested in this as well! Awesome new site Krus and team. Thank you!
Third, 50+and cancer brings a whole Lotta changes!
How about a support group section on your beautiful new blog, where our sense of community can be fulfilled.I am almost 55 and don’t work due to disability. It is very isolating and it would be nice to have a tribe to connect with about all kinds of things-from our slow metabolism, downsizing and minimalism or caring for our family members…I love the look of your new site-it is so fresh!
Or hints to help the upper 40+ group – I too, struggle with a slowing metabolism and no motivation – it is very hard to commit to change in developing new, healthier habits….a kick in the pants that sticks! That’s what I need….
I also love the practical writing – what a day looks like…how to manage all the STUFF and still end the day feeling ‘good’, ideas for the lower income crew…how to maximize limited incomes and health…
Love the new website and best of luck with 2016! You are inspiring and a total wealth of great information. I’m definitely a KC junkie 😉
Ditto. Changes in your mid to upper 40s! Slowing metabolism. Looming menopause. Aging gracefully….
This request sure is resonating with all you lovely readers! Thank you for your feedback—it’s on the list! xo
And don’t forget us 60’s gals!
It’s beautiful, Kris!! Just like you xoxo
I love the new website! Kris, could you right more posts about fear and how to get rid of it? I had depression few years ago and it was very strong and a terrible moment in my life. Even though I don’t have it anymore and I am doing very well, I always feel afraid to have that again. It is all in my mind and I feel like any moment that horrible period in my life will come back. What are your tips for that? Thanks a lot
Jana, I am learning that what we think about the most, is what is likely to manifest-our brain synapses actually changes to deliver what we choose to focus on-so thinking about your fear so much(which is a fearful behavior), can actually cause you to have more fear and anxiety.I had anxiety disorder for many years and find that yoga, meditation, a healthy, plant based diet, and most of all gratitude for what I do have that is good in my life, helps tremendously.Hugs to you,Carolyn
Love the new website. Thank you to you and your team for all you do.
Sweet 16! Day 21 of 366 — Love the new site Kris. I have been on a 3 year journey to a whole food plant based diet, (with lots of help form crazy sexy advice and recipes). My body thanks me for that. However, I don’t feel balanced.
Have you considered covering >> or maybe you already have and I missed it >>> Balancing Chakras. I need some help with the throat chakra as I sometimes say things out loud that I regret immediately afterwards. But then I also need help with the heart chakra as I don’t easily express my feelings. I just don’t feel balanced.
Hi Cindy, I just lost a meaningful relationship the other day for this very thing.I said something without mindfully thinking about it first.I forgot my mindfulness practice.I think that most things-health, relationships, etc., come down to be mindful.(I only wish that I had been mindful the other day-it takes practice-sigh).
The new website looks just wonderful Chris! Don’t you just love it when the creative juices get going with a group of talented people?
I would like to see you delve into fermented foods….and ALL that entails..lol. I have recently gotten onboard with kefir, kombucha and cultured veggies. World of difference on how I am feeling!
I would love to have you do article/articles on ageing. I guess I should narrow that down a little more. I’m looking for more than the standard answers or comments on what to do/how to feel, etc., etc. faced with health, adapting with ageing and mortality. I hope that doesn’t sound depressing….I don’t mean for it to be. We just all go thru the stages of our life and we have so much in common and I think we tend to forget that.
Love it!!
I found you by “accident” one day while reading an article by Louise Hay…now I realize it was no accident at all…you have been my inspiration and education since. I have been on my wellness journey now for about six months and am still in the process of “switching over” and learning to eat a mostly plant based vegetarian/vegan diet. Thanks to you and your team and all your friends (including Gabby Bernstein) I have found many new and exciting products to eat, drink, and ideas to get my life on not the right path of happiness and less stress, and great health. I would like to see more tutorial(s) on how to meditate…just can’t keep my mind still!! Thank you for all you do for us, your amazing. Your positive attitude have greatly improved my life, attitude, and health:-)
Loving the new site!!! I am a Holistic Nutrition Coach and I get so many clients just focused on loosing weight. I would love some tips on how to shift your thinking from losing with to maintaining health, how to make lifestyle changes without getting overwhelmed, and tips on manifesting an abundant spiritual based business. Sending so much love!!!!
I love the variety. Keep doing what you’re doing! The new website looks fabulous! Congratulations!
