Hiya Gorgeous!
Every couple of years I get a makeover. A new haircut, new wardrobe essentials (toss the stinky socks with holes) and most importantly, a new website! That’s right, my digital world gets a salt scrub and bikini wax, too.
This year, my team and I, including our awesome developers and designers, are proud to launch what we think is the best version of my website ever. Why? Because it’s all about YOU. Your needs. Your desires. Your support. We’ve taken all your valuable feedback and comments over the past couple of years and created a simple yet powerful home for our beloved community.
So, without further ado… Welcome to the new Kriscarr.com!
This new hub was designed to make it easier for you to navigate the world of wellness—better functionality, search abilities and the list goes on. We hope our new site fills your life with more joy and knowledge. Take a look and enjoy all this site has to offer.
But before you zoom around, we need you. We’re currently in brainstorming mode, thinking about the year of content ahead and lining up all the goodness we want to share with you, but we don’t want to do that in a bubble. Let’s be honest, sometimes an article goes up and it’s a party in the comment section, other times it’s crickets.
At the end of the day, I research and write these blogs for you. I’m dedicated to creating content that will truly change your life. I know what it’s like to have to wade through gobs of information to get the gem. And I also know what it’s like to struggle and be frustrated when you need comfort and solutions. This site is my way of delivering ease at your fingertips. I want you to feel heard and loved and to have killer smarts so you can kick ass on your wellness journey.
So now it’s your turn: We would be super grateful if you took a moment to let us know what you would like more of, whether it’s deeper discussions about specific health issues, answers to your safe and fabulous beauty questions, soulful conversations about the inner struggles we all face, or tips for getting your dreams off the ground. Some of the articles we post actually take months to research so the more prepared we are, the higher the quality I can deliver.
Tell me what you want to see at KrisCarr.com in 2016 and I will do my best to make it happen.
Thank you so much for being the fuel and inspiration for the work we do.
Peace & digital makeovers,
Beautiful New Web Design!! Thank you for all you do 🙂
Love your clean new site. Thanks for the amazing work you and your team do.
Well done!
Hello Kris,
I’ve been appreciating and following your movement quite a bit. The topics are fantastic, the content is fantastic, and I’ve been highly inspired reading your books and cards, blogs, videos, and more recently, attending the Crazy Sexy Miracles with my wife. My wife was the catalyst in following your stuff while focusing on living a life with lymphoma. She is doing great, in part thanks to you. In response to your request for what I’d like to see in 2016 is this: I am definitely in the minority, as a guy, in being a Kris Carr fan (and now a Gabby fan), and though the content isn’t specifically for women, women are without question your main audience, and seemingly your target audience. As much as I love your stuff on health, spirituality and life, I would like to know what men you might recommend following in these subjects. Thanks so much!
-Mike G.
Lookin’ great – love the new look!
Hi Kris,
I have read your books. I love and share them. Thank you. I use your new Juicing book daily.
Okay some feedback.
I would so appreciate a section of your site that focuses on the Raw Vegan Lifestyle. I have a very good reason why. After a car accident three years ago, I was in such excruciating pain, I was finally diagnosed with PMR (Polymyalgia Rheumatica). I had to go on Prednisone in order to move my body. Had many severe side-effects from that drug.
Okay so here’s the amazing part:
I had been vegetarian for about 5 years. Through some serendipitous experiences, I was lead to learn about the raw vegan lifestyle. I was so guided to just do it! Within a week I was able to get off the Prednisone and the pain was GONE!!!! I could think clearly, and I was happier! And I released the Pred weight gain too. YAY! Every time I eat some dairy, gluten or cooked foods ~ the pain, bloat, brain fog etc starts to return. I have tested this many times! 🙂
So if it feels right to you, would you please find a little space you could devote to this lifestyle!?!?!? Pretty please with rainbow colors?!?!?!
With much love and appreciation,
Lynda
Wow, I love it! It’s “lighter”, “cleaner”, just like a walk on the clouds in a sunny day 🙂 Organised and user friendly clouds 😉 Earlier today I was watching Crazy Sexy Miracles and have been sooo inspired by you and Gabby. Thank you for all your effort, for the good work, messages and thoughts of light you are sending into this world. Sending you lots and lots of love&light <3
Hi Kris– the website makeover is great, a nice fresh look and easy to navigate. I was wondering if the forums are no more? I checked in on them every so often and didn’t see any tabs for it on the new website. Just thought I’d ask.
Yes, Theresa, glad you asked. I LOVE our myCSL community and it’s still filled with helpful conversations & amazing people: my.crazysexylife.com. xo! kc
Chris, great job as usual. Here’s what I’d love to see you add in: Are you aware of Dr. Joe Dispenza’s work? Have. you read his book “You Are the Placebo”? It should be required reading for anyone with serious illness or a seriously dysfunctional life situation. At 23, as a young chiropractor who believed mind was a crucial component in healing, after being severely injured in a horrific car/bicycle accident he declined the treatment he was told was his only hope of standing ever again. He repaired his six crushed vertebrae and his other injuries by marshaling the healing resources in his mind and connecting those with the potent healing potential in the universe. Basically, in a deep meditative state he learned to induce in himself, he vividly and in great detail ‘imagined’ himself healed. He did this lying on his stomach immobilized (permanently, according to the experts), for several hours a day and after awhile, as he experienced changes he concluded we’re the evidence of healing underway, , added a self created physical therapy and dietary healing program. In nine weeks he did what every doctor said he would never do again: he walked back into his life, all injuries completely healed (confirmed by scans).. Ever since, well and without any residual effects of any kind, he has studied and taught what he learned and, as the science has emerged, has engaged psychoneuroimmunologists, brain scientists, geneticists, quantum physicists, neuro biologists, epigenetic it’s, etc, to illuminate from a scientific perspective what, on the physical level, comprises this sort of miracle. He has truly bridged the divide between science and the metaphysical and given so much more depth to the intuitive understanding that a “positive attitude”, “belief”, “hope” are foundational keys to healing. I believe he provides tools that, along with nutrition and lifestyle enhancements, could make a crucial difference for your followers.
I’m replying to myself: annoying ‘auto-correct’…that should be ‘epigeneticists’, experts in the field of epigenetics, the study of how the environment, inner and outer, up and down regulates our genes. Yes! 85% of our genes turn off and on, up and down regulate, are flexible in their expression. Huge implications! And according to Dr. Alejandro Junger (“Clean”, and “Clean Gut”), the study of epigenetics has revealed that food! is the major influence on how our flexible genes express (i.e. whether a potentially illness causing gene actually becomes active, or one that has actually turns off). What he says is that beyond fuel and building blocks, “food is information.”. So it really, really does matter what we eat.
Glad you asked!
2 things I would love to see addressed and I apologize if somehow I missed it….
1) How to cope with family members who are not on the same page with health and diet — specifically how it could change there life and eliminate medications? Health is my passion — but is not shared by spouse or adult children and it pains me to see them suffer from maladies that could be improved with better nutrition. Beyond knowing that we can’t change anyone but ourselves, I can’t seem to let it go and it scares me about their future!
2) Would love to see the most current research regarding silent reflux and the role of pepsin. Again, so frustrating to follow a healthful, vegan, green drinking lifestyle and still suffer from a very inflammed esophogus and all the effects of reflux…Thoughts?
Great ideas, Chris. Thanks for sharing! kc
I too would love to learn more about silent reflux!!
Love it! I loved the last one too and wouldn’t have thought that you needed a change but this one is an improvement. I like how much cleaner it looks. Less clutter, better organization. Beautiful colors.
It’s a beauty of a site. I loved the old site so I am bound to love the new one. Here’s to you Kris & your team! For the best in all of us!
I would LOVE to see what types of cookware you are using….nonstick, stainless steel, ?? I am SO confused….I better just stick to your yummy JUICES!
Love it!
You have so many fun and cute things.
Love the new website.. You added such great energy at the Chopra Center’s Journey Into Healing amazing last year… continue to glean great information and positive topics on your blog and website. Thank you for your message.
Thanks, Abby! So happy you could be there. xo
LOVE the new site! Beautiful & easy to navigate. Your posts are always awesome. In response to the question, I love reading the personal accounts of the dealing with inner-struggles, accessing spirit, etc. part of healing. 🙂 xoxoxo
it so fits this next step in your path~universally magical 🙂
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Clean, inviting, and full of sunny Kris Carr vibes. 🙂 Congratulations, Kris and crew! xo
I would like a stronger commitment to the welfare of animals. A lot of people are vegan for vanity’s sake. They never last because they never made the connection. Once they lose the weight, look younger, etc. they go back to abusing animals. I know you want to be accessible to EVERYONE but let’s not forget that animals are SUFFERING every single second and they NEED us to speak for them. It isn’t about being “fabulous”. It’s about being USEFUL. The world needs us. ALL of us. The animals need us. ALL of us. Can we get back to that? And please stop celebrating animal abusers. (Donna Karan, for example, STILL uses fur in her line, even after promising PeTA that she’d stop. That is no one to celebrate.) Being popular is great but not at the expense of innocent lives. More depth is what I’m craving. Less surface glitterati. Twinkling is a good thing but so is having ethics. Backbone. Empathy. Compassion. Love for ALL beings. 🙂
The new site is beautiful! Clean and crisp but with that Kris Carr flavor. I’d love to see more ideas on how to stay healthy in an office/sitting-all-day environment. So many treats around, and so much sitting, and deadline stresses. I’d also like to hear some ideas on how to live an awesome health and wellness lifestyle on a smaller budget. I see all these things that sound wonderful, yet I can’t afford a home sauna or even to go to the nearest functional medicine doc’s office and use his far infrared sauna very often. I know it’s about balance and doing your best daily (greens!), but it would be nice to know which extra therapies offer the most bang for our buck. Thanks!
Love your ideas! A lot of them are on my list. 🙂 kc
