I’m a joyful homebody. So even though I love food, cooking and hanging out in the kitchen, I don’t love going to the grocery store. When it comes to produce, we usually shop a couple times a week (although because it’s garden season, I just stroll over to my veggie patch—woo-hoo!). For household and kitchen staples, I try to think ahead and get ‘er done, stocking up with enough toilet paper and hand soap to fill a bunker—it’s kinda like I’m prepping for the next Snowmageddon… in July!

- Goji Berries: These little suckers add a powerful antioxidant boost to your trail mix and they’re also a great dessert topper.
- Chia Seeds: Have you tried chia pudding? If not, you’re in for a treat! You can even use these omega-3-filled seeds as an egg substitute for your vegan baked recipes. Woot!

brown rice
Coconut oil! I put it on toast, I use it in place of butter in baked goods, I put it on my skin, in my hair, make toothpaste with it. I love it!
I CANNOT live without chia seeds. They are so versatile and yummy.

I absolutely love Artisana raw pecan butter and can’t live without it in my pantry! It’s great added to smoothies or stuffed inside a date for dessert.
Short grain brown rice! And canned beans/lentils.
hemp seeds
I could not live without extra virgin, cold pressed coconut oil. I use it for cooking, baking and smoothies, as well as in the bathroom for skin and hair care.
Lightly salted rice cakes are always in our pantry! We cover them with almond butter and maple syrup for a sweet snack, or we use them with your delicious “Save the Tuna” on top! It goes with so many options!
Organic sunflower seeds and organic raisins…..luv them!
I can’t get by without an array of oils, from olive oil and coconut oil to toasted sesame oil and avocado oil.
Coconut oil is one thing I wouldn’t want to do without. It has so many uses.
I love the idea of thrive. I recently made crackers and animal crackers for my teens. I have really learned slot about nutrition this year. I’m trying.
I can’t live without hemp seeds. I put them on oats, salad, make milk & in smoothies.
Flax seeds rock! I love them on my salads and in my smoothies…yum:-)
I Live without my coconut oil.
I enjoy goji berries when I am traveling to add to my overnight oats when fresh or frozen berries arn’t available.
I love coconut mlk, maple syrup, and cashews. Yum 🙂
Beans – dried and canned!
I have all of these in my pantry right now, except goji berries and nori sheets — both of which I really want to try. Out of all of these I probably use brown rice the most. I have three kids and we are working on being exclusively whole-foods, plant-based, so brown rice is a staple around here. And it’s so much more versatile than just served on the side or under stir-fries. I love it in veggie burgers and meat-less loaf!
