I’m a joyful homebody. So even though I love food, cooking and hanging out in the kitchen, I don’t love going to the grocery store. When it comes to produce, we usually shop a couple times a week (although because it’s garden season, I just stroll over to my veggie patch—woo-hoo!). For household and kitchen staples, I try to think ahead and get ‘er done, stocking up with enough toilet paper and hand soap to fill a bunker—it’s kinda like I’m prepping for the next Snowmageddon… in July!

What could be better than eating healthy food and staying on budget? Nada. Just the other day I visited Thrive and loaded up my digital cart with a bunch of my pantry and personal care faves. - Maple Syrup: This sweetie is the perfect addition to your morning oatmeal or healthy desserts—without any refined sugars. Plus, it’s loaded with antioxidants and minerals.
- Goji Berries: These little suckers add a powerful antioxidant boost to your trail mix and they’re also a great dessert topper.
- Chia Seeds: Have you tried chia pudding? If not, you’re in for a treat! You can even use these omega-3-filled seeds as an egg substitute for your vegan baked recipes. Woot!
- Hemp Seeds: Sprinkle these special guys on top of your salad for an extra punch of protein. Add them to your smoothies and you’ve got a hearty breakfast or lunch, chock full of vitamins and minerals.

My favorite pantry item is cacao powder. I love to put it in smoothies, and to use it to make vegan hot chocolate, yum!!
I can’t live without dried chickpeas, I cook them constantly and use them in almost every meal!
My favorite pantry since a month now is definitely coconut oïl. I have a dry skin and eczema since I’m a baby and with this amazing oïl, my skin is looking healthier than it ever been! 🙂
My can’t-live-without pantry staple would have to be dried mulberries. I love adding them to my morning oatmeal, sprinkled on top of toast with almond butter and even ground up with apricots and cashews for a delicious raw dessert! Yum 🙂

I’d have to say, coconut oil.
I can’t live without a nice mixture of nuts and seeds stashed in the fridge. That, and my organic raw oats.
I love farro! A whole grain that cooks in a third of the time of brown rice. It has a great chewy and nutty flavor.
Avocados
My favorite pantry item would be Apple Cider Vinegar. I use it in my morning warm water drink, along with lemon. and in the afternoon as part of my salad dressing recipe.
I need ground flaxseed in my pantry for smoothies.
Coconut oil. Use it in stir fry’s, baked desserts, smoothies, sautéed w onions and garlic and added to soups and now I even put it in my hair! thanks Kris and Thrive.
Garbanzo beans! Salads, dips, chili. So versatile.
My favorite pantry items are organic coconut oil (I eat it and use it on my skin!) and nori sheets. I actually eat them instead of potato chips 🙂
